I started dancing when I was almost three years old, and from that point on fell in love with dance. I trained at a tiny school in my hometown, where I stayed faithfully until this year. I sadly was forced to leave to head to college at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. I'm planning to double major in dance and psychology to prepare me for teaching dance, my dream.

I was weary to try out for the dance company here because it was said that there was almost a zero chance that freshman made it in, but I sucked it up, and tried out anyway, and during the tap part I even blanked out and forgot a step! I beat the odds and am now a member of the UNH Dance Company.

This is just the first step to my dream of dancing and teaching dance. I wouldn't have got here without my unbelievable dance teacher, and a lot of hard work. Great things can happen if you work at it! Believe me.

I will keep dancing for as long as I can, and hope I can teach my future students the passion for dance that I have.
