My name is Ava Improta. I've been dancing for 7 years and I'm an 8th grade honor student at Carrigan Middle School in West Haven, CT.

I never thought that I would grow to love dance as much as I do now. I love my dance school Gloria Jeans School of Dance and all the frinds that I have made there. I'm grateful for my teacher Stacy Eastman. With her help I will be traveling to Reisa, Germany in November to compete in the World Tap Championships. I will be perfoming a solo choreographed by Stacy along with a duo and a small group.

Dance has let me meet new people and make new friends all over the country. It has become such a big part of my life that I would love to continue my dance education when I someday go to college. I enjoy teaching the younger kids in our studio and sharing with them the joy that dance can bring.
