I have been dancing almost all of my life, but never considered pursuing it as a career. When high school graduation came near I tried to prepare myself for a new life--a college life, a life without dancing and performing. Little did I know that before the end of my first week at the University of California, Santa Barbara I would have auditioned into the dance major program.

Now, not only am I dancing everyday, and performing in concerts and shows, but my eyes have been opened to a whole new world of dance. In eight short months I have had the opportunity to take guest classes from artists like Edward Villella and collaborators from Mikal Baryshnokov's White Oak Project; and have begun training for my professional dancing career.

I guess when you really love to do something and want it bad enough, things have a way of working themselves out.
