I am from a very small town with only a little over 100 people in it. I have loved dancing all of my life. When I was three years old I started to take dancing from Connie House School of Dance in a town about 20 miles away. It is a lot bigger than our small town.

I have always been somewhat shy and dancing has really helped that. I know that when it is time to perform I put my shyness aside and "just do it". I also started taking gymnastics in the second grade at St. Joseph Missouri at Arising Stars. It was so much fun! I kept taking and got really good.

I was going to begin competing soon, but the cost started being too much so I had to stop going. On top of that my mother would of had to bring me more days per week, and the city was an hour and a half away. I was really upset, but kept on taking dance lessons.

When I got older we went to Worlds of Fun for competitions every year and it always turned out great. Then a few years ago we went to Kansas City "Stars of Tomorrow" contest and won first place! We also went to a dance workshop there. After winning we were sent to Las Vegas to compete and won first place there! We also took a great workshop. Clogging was our group's main specialty but we did many other things as well.

This past fall I was sad to have to quit taking lessons from my teacher, because I had recently started being homeschooled through Missouri University and had to buckle down on my studies in order to get done a year before my origional graduation date. So here I am still studying.

Lately, word has got around to me that many ladies would like their children to take dance from me, so I am thinking about teaching for a while. Also, I plan to start taking dance lessons again sometime this year of 2002. I miss competing. I also made up many dances in High School for different events and I can't wait to do more of that!

I always want to have dancing in my life!
