As the 2003-04 NBA season heats up, the Miami HEAT players aren't the only ones creating sparks on the AA Arena floor. With an exhilarating, talented dance troupe dazzling fans and making a name for themselves, not only in South Florida, but on a national and international scale, the Miami HEAT Dancers complete what is known as The HEAT Experience - an all-inclusive package of sheer entertainment delivered to fans at every HEAT home game.

Under the spotlight are the HEAT Dancers, South Florida's most talented and beautiful performers who are the centerpiece of HEAT in-game entertainment. Under the leadership of Choreographer and Director Janine M. Thompson and Assistant Director Jonaura Wisdom - both former HEAT Dancers themselves - fans will be dazzled this season by the glitzy glamour, high energy and creative routines from the group, comprised of 19 personable, poised and attractive ladies. The Dancers have been very busy, between a time-consuming schedule involving practices, workouts, events and the 41-game home schedule, the team has been posing and primping, as they have been featured in a variety of renowned publications throughout South Florida.

Not only is this performance group a staple of every HEAT home game, complimenting the live NBA action, but it's also a recognizable face in the community as well. Whether making an appearance at a school to help motivate students to do their best, visiting with sick children in hospitals, delivering turkeys to the underprivileged on Thanksgiving, the Dancers have made it their priority to give back to their neighbors by playing a role in every Miami HEAT community outreach event. Although HEAT basketball is seasonal, this community-oriented attitude runs throughout the entire year.
