Capezio Stars - Dancers

Michelle ManiscalcoMichelle was born and raised in the small town of Runnemede, NJ. It was there that she discovered her love for music at a very young age. This passion led her to start her dancing career. Michelle studied all forms of the art of dance. She was a member of the South Jersey Ballet Company for five years and studied under the guidance of Shawn Doyle. She was the youngest member of the company to receive the role of "Clara" in The Nutcracker. Michelle was also a part of the competition team at Triplett where she studied under Carol Anne Camoretta and Roger and Trish Triplett. Her funky style led her to venture off and discover a free form of dance, Freestyle dancing. This is Michelle's favorite genre of dance because it is raw and it is where the soul is. Michelle was employed at all of the major venues in Philadelphia and one of the few freestyle dancers employed by Donald Trump at the Casbah in Atlantic City. In 2003, Michelle received Best Overall Freestyle Performance at Webster Hall in New York City. Michelle was also an NFL Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader where she studied under the guidance of Suzy Zucker. This opportunity opened the door to modeling for Michelle. She modeled for such publications as FHM Magazine, the Philadelphia Eagles calendar and College and Pro Weekly. Michelle captured the world on MTV's Wade Robson Project where she was the only female standing in the end. Since then, Michelle has had offers from The WB and Capezio. Michelle recently made the move to Los Angeles and has had the opportunity to work with top choreographers such as Wade Robson, Shanette Heard, Dave Scott, Razaro & Jamal, and Kennis Marquis. She has also been very honored to dance for artists such as Crystal Waters, Angela Winbush and JC Chasez. Passionate, driven and focused, Michelle will be nothing less than a success. |
